InStAR Online Courses (Non-Seminar)

In addition to InStAR Seminars, InStAR will also begin offering a variety of non-seminar, introductory astronomy courses that are suitable for undergraduate students, individuals with a science-related undergraduate degree, citizen scientists interested in increasing their astronomy knowledge, and other people who have an interest in astronomy and a desire to learn about the science and technology of astronomical research.

InStAR will initially be offering the following courses. Each course will vary in length from eight to 12-weeks; offer university-quality instruction and guidance; include close interaction with students teams; online chats and discussions; online teaching resources; and give researchers and students that "real world" astronomical research experience. Click on the courses below to read their descriptions, when they are offered, and how you can enroll.
