The Institute for Student Astronomical Research is pleased to present a one-day on-site and online workshop, hosted by the Planetary Science Institute, that will provide a comprehensive overview of the goals and objectives of the InStAR and the Astronomy Research Seminar, which is designed to give undergraduate students in-depth research experiences through an astronomical context. The Workshop, which is designed for educators interested in adopting the Seminar, will review the broad goals and history of the Seminar, discuss the content and conduct of the Seminar, highlight robotic observatories providing crucial support to supply student data, and will include insights from current Seminar instructors. In addition, the role of InStAR in supporting and expanding the Seminar nationally will be discussed.
